Curtis Australia’s heritage can be traced back to the 1890's, when leather goods were first made by founding members of the same family in rural Australia- goods with a reputation for durability and quality. Almost a hundred years ago jewellery became the focus. Curtis, a family company synonymous with fine jewellery, has evolved into the prestigious Curtis Australia brand, bringing you one of the widest collections of luxury pieces available today.

 

Glenn Curtis, Master Jeweller and designer, is the founder and CEO of Curtis Australia. He has inherited from the generations before him an attention to detail, love of design and the traditional hand skills and fine craftsmanship of days gone by.  Through his unique and beautiful designs Curtis has the ability to enrich and captivate - with perhaps the best pens in the world.

 

Curtis is passing on the skills to the next generation of artisans in the business, one of whom is his daughter, and so handing down the jeweller’s art. He sets the tone for creativity with an understated enthusiasm and obvious breadth of knowledge and award winning expertise.

Each writing instrument is designed and created by hand in their studio in rural Australia starting from a sketch on paper. Every pen is testament to the Curtis ethos that form follows function. This studied approach produces a pen you will quickly appreciate, one with great balance that is a pleasure to write with.

A palette of precious metals, delicate swirling resin and carefully chosen precious gems, goes into the creation one of the most intensively hand crafted pens available today.
