Jamestown on the James River - the first European settlement in America

America’s 400th Anniversary Pen

Curtis Australia has created a new limited edition collection of luxury fountain pens to commemorate the birth of America at Jamestown, Virginia in 1607. Designed in a new size and profile called the Ambassador, the America 400 barrel features three roped cartouches of the fleet depicted as sailmaker’s drawings, together with a cannon, ropes and ship’s wheel. Carefully researched from historical records, the three ships are magnificently carved in full sail around the cap. Curtis Master Jewelers hand finish each piece using a 400-year old “lost wax” casting method perfected in the era this trio set sail to America. With 18K two tone gold nib.
