How Curtis Australia hopes to help

Curtis Australia wanted to create a visually exciting pen to draw attention to the work of the Wildlife Warriors, a pen that imaginatively captured the spirit of the animals themselves while being unique in both design and craftsmanship.

The Wildlife Warrior pen is a specially created, hand crafted fountain pen that beautifully illustrates several endangered species in solid gold surrounded by sparkling diamonds and sapphires.

Over 450 hand set gems add brilliance and colour to the solid gold pen

Glenn Curtis has always been aware of the natural environment, and campaigned hard for restored water flows to the historic Snowy River in Victoria, Australia for example. This passion has led to a very special solid gold and gemset fountain pen project that we hope will help the Wildlife Warriors in several ways.

Wildlife Warriors

Wildlife Warriors Worldwide was established in 2002, initially by Steve and Terri Irwin, as a way to include and involve other caring people to support the protection of injured, threatened or endangered wildlife – from the individual animal to an entire species. Terri Irwin is the Patron of this now independent organisation which helps many important animal conservation projects around the world.

This valuable pen will only be created 5 times, and each will feature a different array of precious gems making each one a valuable collector’s item.

One pen wasbe auctioned at a Special Gala Dinner as part of G’Day USA 2008, where it is drew the attention of rival bidders keen to secure this skilfully made pen. All funds raised by the sale of the first pen will go direct to the Wildlife Warriors, to help them in their vitally important work around the world.
