In rich patriotic red resin combined with finely sculptured solid sterling silver, this magnificent pen features Washington’s portrait, together with many more fascinating details from his life.

Every pen carries a facsimile of Washington’s signature

On the back of the pen can also be seen part of the famous eulogy from Henry Lee, who said that Washington was ’...First in the Hearts of his Countrymen’.

 

Below this, General Howe’s dog, which was returned to him by Washington, after becoming lost in battle. General Howe was much taken with the gesture, marking it the act of a gentleman.

 

The pen also shows Nelson, Washington’s favourite warhorse, as well as his estate at Mount Vernon.
